Will Grohmann Prize

The Will Grohmann Prize is awarded on 4th December, the anniversary of the birthday of the art scholar and benefactor of the award who died in 1968, in accordance with his instructions. The laureates are either visual artists, “who display talent and individuality”, or a personality from the field of art criticism, art theory, or exhibition involvement, who has performed outstanding services in promoting contemporary art.

The winner is decided on by an independent jury. The award is endowed with € 6,000.
