The film tells the unusual love story of Sulamit and Friedrich, who meet each other as adolescents in Buenos Aires in the 1950s. Their romance develops against the background of the political upheaval of May 68 in Germany and the military dictatorship in Argentina: a love affair that lasts a lifetime.
