Anne Lacaton

Anne Lacaton has worked with Jean Philippe Vassal at their architectural offices Lacaton & Vassal in Paris since 1985. They gained recognition through numerous buildings and studies, opening the way for a social and sustainable approach to architectural language that also shows conceptual alternatives in the debates around social housing. The Akademie has often exhibited works by Lacaton & Vassal. Anne Lacaton has been an Akademie member since 2016. Matthias Sauerbruch, Director of the Architecture Section, introduces and moderates the discussion that follows.
