EM4 | Berliner Studios: Georg Katzer

Concert

The concert is a homage to composer Georg Katzer (1935–2019), founder of the Studio for Electroacoustic Music of the Akademie der Künste. Katzer’s music is communicative, inspired by the arts, literature, philosophy, the human and the political. Emblematic works for instruments and electronics can be experienced, such as the Ballade vom zerbrochenen Klavier, three compositions from the series Imaginäre Dialoge, and the multimedia works L’homme machine and Räume. With musicians from Ensemble JungeMusik.
