Gerhard Leo – A German in the Résistance

Journalist Gerhard Leo (1923–2009) worked for the Résistance in exile in France. After the war, he moved to the GDR in 1952. In 1961, he was sent as a GDR special correspondent to the Eichmann trial in Jerusalem. Annette and Maxim Leo will talk to Lothar Müller about the extraordinary life of their father and grandfather. Ulrich Matthes will read from Leo’s autobiography Early Train to Toulouse and Gabriele Radecke presents the Gerhard Leo Archive.
