Akademie der Künste suspends Events in November
Exhibition “urbainable – stadthaltig” only open until Sunday

Due to current corona-related regulations, the Akademie der Künste is suspending events from 2 to 30 November 2020. The exhibitions at Pariser Platz and Hanseatenweg will be closed as of Monday, as will the Brecht-Weigel Museum and the Anna-Seghers Museum. Tickets that have already been purchased will lose their validity; the cost of the tickets will be reimbursed.

The exhibition “urbainable – stadthaltig” is only open until and including Sunday, 1 November. The show presents 33 projects by academy members from the fields of engineering, landscape architecture and urban planning, with a focus on the role of the European city in times of global warming, digitalisation and demographic and social change. The closing discussion on 17 November entitled “Sustainability in Construction – Greenwashing or Progress” will be held digitally.

The exhibition “Continent – In Search of Europe” by the photographers of OSTKREUZ will – according to current planning – re-open in December at Pariser Platz.
