Award Ceremony
Founded in 1988, just prior to an era of epochal change, the European culture magazine Lettre International quarterly offers space for all arts. Dedicating an annual focus to the performing arts – where not only theatre people but also intellectuals from other disciplines express their thoughts on questions pertaining to theatre, intense views on art and on the present, and in which even entire oeuvres are discussed – bears witness to "the knowledge of the threat facing the theatre arts as a collectively inhabited thinking space on (not just) a European scale".
