The Art Collection presently comprises around 70,000 works on paper, over 50,000 posters, numerous paintings, sculptures, and artistic objects as well as personal and cultural historical artefacts in the Applied Arts Collection. In addition to supporting the Akademie der Künste’s own exhibitions, the Art Collection also provides loans for exhibition projects worldwide and is open to the public for research and study purposes.
