Colonial Repercussions. Performances of No-thingness

Symposium

With Performances of No-thingness, Nana Adusei-Poku presents an inquiry into cultural productions of the Black diaspora as a critique on hegemonic concepts of identity during a discursive platform of the event series Colonial Repercussions. These perspectives examine the Western notions of gender, race, sexualities and dis-abilities during performances, workshops, city tours and lectures. With NIC Kay, Autumn Knight, Okwui Okpokwasili, Christina Sharpe, Sorryyoufeeluncomfortable, et al.
