Anda Kryeziuis a composer and interpreter from Kosovo. She studied at the music conservatory in Priština and later at the Bern University of the Arts and the Lucerne University of Applied Arts and Sciences. She completed her master’s degree in Piano under Konstantin Lifschit and in Composition under Dieter Ammann. In 2011 she held scholarships form, inter alia, the foundation Basler Orchester-Gesellschaft and the atDta Foundation. Her music has been performed by many international ensembles at the following festivals: Biennale ZeitRäume (Basel), the Mostra Sonora festival (Sueca, Spain), the festival Aufwind (Vienna), New Music Days (Lucerne) (2015 & 2016), the DAM Festival (Priština), and the festival Leicht über Linz (Linz). Her work is primarily aimed at highlighting the richness of musical expression and approaches, and her genres include instrumental music with or without live electronics, acousmatic music, as well as multimedia and music theatre. She is currently continuing her composition studies with Caspar Johannes Walter at the Basel Music Academy.
