“In my next book of poetry, I want to capture the full range of thoughts, worries and desires on the subway between promising billboards, cheap food, funny graffiti and trash. The focus will be on searching for the way we constitute thoughts and absorb external stimuli, the way we rearrange terms and rethink meanings in our collective sensory experience of contemporary wor(l)ds. Articulation in the long poem set to the rhythm and directions of the subway, at the place where the outsider point-of-view is driven by the electronic adventure of language; a bit more than socially engaged, we are outsiders too. At the level of a simulacrum, this sounds like a poetic and political rhapsody.”
