On 18 March, on behalf of the Land of Berlin, the Akademie der Künste annually awards the Berlin Art Prize Jubilee Endowment 1848/1948, which was established by the Berlin Senate in commemoration of the March Revolution of 1848. This year’s prizes will be awarded by Berlin’s Governing Mayor Franziska Giffey and the Vice President of the Akademie der Künste, Kathrin Röggla, this coming Friday at 7 pm. Herbert Fritsch will host the evening. Mark Lammert will give the laudatory speech for the Grand Prize. As a further award, the 2021 Will Grohmann Prize will also be presented to Zoë Claire Miller on this evening.
