Wolfgang Kaleck
Wolfgang Kaleck , lawyer and author focusing on human rights and international criminal law. Among his most recent publications is Mit Recht gegen die Macht, which is also available in English translation Law versus Power. Our Global Fight for Human Rights, which was published in 2019. He is General Secretary of the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR), a non-profit, independent human rights organisation based in Berlin, Germany, which he founded in 2007. Most recently, he was the curator of the Symposium “Colonial Repercussions I” event in January 2018, jointly organized by the Akademie der Künste, the Bundeszentrale für Politische Bildung and ECCHR, as well as of the “Week of Justice” that took place in Swakopmund and Windhoek in Namibia in March 2019.
