Blixa Bargeld

Blixa Bargeld (born in 1959 in West Berlin) is the legendary front man of the West Berlin band Einstürzende Neubauten and works as a musician, performer, composer, author and actor. He has worked repeatedly with Heiner Müller, one of East Germany's most important dramatists and the last president of the Academy of Arts, East Berlin. In addition to the radio play Bildbeschreibung (1988), he recorded a version of Müller's Hamletmaschine with Einstürzende Neubauten, Wolfgang Rindfleisch and Heiner Müller in 1990.
