Manos Tsangaris

Manos Tsangaris (*1956), composer, author and drummer, is one of the most important representatives of new music theatre and lives in Cologne and Dresden. He studied composition, new music theatre and drums in Cologne. Performances of his works at major festivals including the Biennale di Venezia, the Donaueschingen Festival, as well as at theatre and opera houses in Cologne, New York, Dresden and Berlin. Invitations to many countries in Europe, North America and Asia. Since 2009, Tsangaris has been a Professor of Composition at the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music in Dresden.
