Bernadus Swartbooi (b. in Karasburg, Namibia), activist and one of the leaders of the Landless People’s Movement (LPM) in Namibia. Set up to fundamentally reshape land policies in Namibia and to campaign for the return of properties taken during German colonialism, the movement is currently expanding its representation in Europe, with a representative appointed to Germany.
