Bert Papenfuß

Bert Papenfuß (born in 1956 in Stavenhagen) initially worked as an electrician and sound and lighting technician. Since 1980, he has been a freelance writer. Collaboration with painters and musicians. Co-editor of the cultural and political magazine SKLAVEN since 1994, SKLAVEN Aufstand from 1998, GEGNER from 1999 and Abwärts! since 2014. From 1999 to 2008, co-operator of the Kaffee Burger bar and club, from 2010 to 2015 the cultural dive Rumbalotte continua, since then in the clutches of Rumbalotte Prenzlauer Berg Connection e.V., lives in Berlin. 1988 Erich Fried Award, Vienna. In 2008 the Eugen Viehof Award of the German Schiller Foundation, Munich. 2016 Karin Kramer Award for Resistive Literature, Berlin. In 2017, Planet-Lyrik Rent Award, Berlin.
