Jaroslaw Suchan
Jaroslaw Suchan, art historian, critic and curator, has been the Director of Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź, Poland since 2006. As a curator and co-curator, he has organised numerous exhibitions of modern and contemporary art, including "Kobro y Strzemiński. Prototipos vanguardistas" (at Museo Reina Sofia, Madrid 2017), "Máquina Tadeusz Kantor" (SESC Consolaçao, São Paulo, 2015) and "Cezary Bodzianowski – This Place Is Called The Hole" (Museum Abteiberg, Mönchengladbach, 2012). He is the author of many texts on avantgarde, modernism, contemporary art and institutional critique, and has co-edited books about Tadeusz Kantor, Jerzy Grotowski, Władysław Strzemiński and the Polish-Jewish avantgarde.
