Kathrin Röggla

Kathrin Röggla (born in 1971 in Salzburg) works as a prose and theatre writer and develops radio plays. She has been Vice President of the Akademie der Künste since June 2015. Her publications include, among others, really ground zero, wir schlafen nicht and die alarmbereiten as well as collected essays and theatre pieces under the title: besser wäre: keine. Most recently published: Nachtsendung. Unheimliche Geschichten (2016). She realised her radio play Selbstläufer (2000) with Barbara Shepherd and Robert Lippok. From 1999-2002, Röggla and Lippok also maintained contact in connection with convex tv, a network radio collective (East and West), then called testbed.
