Louis Rastig
Louis Rastig, born in 1987 in Berlin, is a pianist and composer in the areas of free music, noise rock and film music. In 2010, he contributed the soundtrack for the film Vaterlandsverräter by Annekatrin Hendel, which premièred in 2011 during the Berlinale. Since 2012, he has directed the progressively oriented avant-garde A L'ARME! jazz festival in Berlin as its initiator and artistic director, and has been part of the industrial noise duo European Sports Car since then. He has also been engaged as a music curator at renowned cultural institutions like the Moers Festival and is one of the curators of the music programme for the Underground and Improvisation exhibition by the Akademie der Künste.
