Oleg Shpudeiko

Heinali is a moniker of Ukrainian music composer and performer Oleg Shpudeiko, working in the fields of electronic and electroacoustic music. Self-taught, Shpudeiko started his first eclectic experiments with music in 2003. His recent works gravitate to a sound sculpture aesthetic. They're often based on layering, looping, distortion and modular synthesis and explore the phenomenology of sound and liminality. In 2010 he started a long-term collaboration with American poet Matt Finney.  In 2013, together with Alexey Shmurak, Heinali formed an electroacoustic duo. Concentrating on interdisciplinary projects and live performances, they realized numerous projects with visual artists, musicians, VJs and poets.
