Ronald Lippok

Ronald Lippok (born in 1963 in Berlin) is a painter and drummer. In 1982, he was the drummer of the first East Berlin punk band Rosa Extra. In 1983, he founded the experimental multimedia music project Ornament & Verbrechen with his brother Robert. 1991-1992, Member of the November Club (with Bert Papenfuß, Bernd Jestram and others), in 1995, he founded Tarwater and To Rococo Rot (with Robert Lippok and Stefan Schneider). He has released work on various labels such as Kitty-Yo, City Slang and Staubgold. In addition, there are audio works by To Rococo Rot, among others, for Olaf Nicolai, Doug Aitken and for Takehito Koganezawa. Since 2001, he has been releasing his solo projects on Raster-Noton. In December 2017, his Brimford Collection exhibition was shown at the State Gallery of Prenzlauer Berg.
