Wolfgang Müller

Wolfgang Müller (born in 1957) is a German artist, musician and author. He lives in Berlin and Reykjavik and is regarded as an expert on Iceland and elves. In 1980, he founded the post-punk and concept band Die Tödliche Doris in West Berlin (1980-1987) and, in 1982, Merve Verlag published the book Geniale Dilletanten with contributions by Gudrun Gut and Blixa Bargeld among others. The poet, author and playwright Heiner Müller, the last president of the East German Academy of Arts, who worked with Einstürzende Neubauten on several occasions, smuggled Müller's book from West to East Berlin.
