“If a little fame were to come to me”. Johannes Bobrowski

Today, Johannes Bobrowski (1917–1965) is ranked among the most striking voices in 20th century German literature. With this event funded by the Stiftung Preußische Seehandlung, the Akademie der Künste and the Johannes-Bobrowski-Gesellschaft honour the author’s 100th anniversary.

7 pm: Reading, Talk, Music
Reading and discussion with Durs Grünbein, Adam Zagajewski and Klaus Völker. Yvonne Friedli and Wolfram Teßmer (piano: Frank Gutschmidt) sing settings by Elizabeth Austin and Siegfried Matthus.

9 pm: Premiere of Wiederkehr. Film by Volker Koepp.
Afterwards, Volker Koepp shows Wiederkehr (Germany 2017, 60 Min., rbb/Vineta Film), his new film on Bobrowski. Followed by discussion with Volker Koepp and Andreas Degen. Presentation: Cornelia Klauß.
