30 Years of the Villa Grassimo

Long Night

The Akademie der Künste and Berlin Senate Chancellery – Cultural Affairs first awarded the Alfred Döblin Scholarship 30 years ago. Since then, over 250 Berlin authors have been scholars in residence at the Alfred-Döblin-Haus in Wewelsfleth, donated by Günter Grass. For this anniversary, Peter Wawerzinek and Thilo Bock are publishing a wealth of ghost stories featuring Hannelore Keyn, housekeeper and heart and soul of ‘Villa Grassimo’ for many years.

A night with Peter Wawerzinek, Thilo Bock, Julia Franck, Reinhard Jirgl, Tom Schulz, Ralph Hammerthaler, Julia Kissina, Konstantin Ames, Hannah Dübgen, Ulla Lenze, David Wagner, Kathrin Schmidt, Inger-Maria Mahlke, Volker kaminski, and the live band Beatbande.
