On the Duty and the Power of Architecture: Volker Staab
For the fifth time this year, members present current projects and talk to each other about current responsibility and the influence of building culture on our lives.
Berlin architect Volker Staab founded his office, Staab Architekten, in 1991, which has built cultural, research and school buildings that have won numerous awards, especially in Germany. One of his main concerns is to condense the complex conditions of architecture into a simple form.
The lecture is followed by a conversation between Staab and Berlin architect Hilde Léon.
