All that poetry – poesiefestival berlin
The 23rd poesiefestival berlin presents the entire spectrum of international contemporary poetry. The festival, organised in cooperation with the Akademie der Künste, will open with “Weltklang—Nacht der Poesie”, the multilingual panorama of international poetry, with Raymond Antrobus (JAM/GBR), Agustín Fernández Mallo (ESP), Dorothea Grünzweig (DEU) , Mihret Kebede (ETH), Kim Yi-deum (KOR), Wulf Kirsten (DEU), Aleš Šteger (SVN), Halyna Kruk (UKR) and Julia Wong Kcomt (PER), among others. The Berlin Poetry 2022 speech will be given by Michèle Métail(FRA). The “VERSschmuggel” translation workshop will focus on poetry from four successor states of the former Yugoslavia: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia. In one evening, artists and specialists from the continent and its diaspora exchange views on the cartography of Africa’s new urbanity. There will once again be an extensive participatory programme for children and adults as well as a poetry market.
