Miss Read – The Berlin Art Book Fair

Reading and Discussion

MISS READ – The Berlin Art Book Fair  has developed into one of the most important meeting points of artist/authors, publishers, art magazines and institutions. A special focus in 2016 will be exhibitors of Spanish-speaking countries.

Additional to the 180+ exhibitors, MISS READ will present a series of lectures, discussions, book launches and workshops, exploring the margins of contemporary publishing practice as well as the potential of book as a medium. Among the speakers will be Paul Soullelis, Eva Weinmayr, Tony White and Anne Thurmann-Jajes.

In the frame of MISS READ 2016, the fourth Conceptual Poetics Day will explore the imaginary border between art and literature. Its program will feature readings and live performances of Eugen Gomringer, James Sherry, Hank Schmidt in der Beek, Ignacio Uriarte, Annette Gilbert, Cia Rinne and others.
