Peter Joseph Lenné Prize 2018

Award Ceremony

Lenné had a decisive impact on landscape architecture and city planning in Prussia. The state of Berlin has been awarding the Peter-Joseph-Lenné-Preis since 1965, which is considered the world's largest competition for ideas from landscape architects, architects and artists. Three tasks were publicly advertised in 2018: an open space concept for the Marx-Engels-Forum in Berlin-Mitte, a development concept for Ebersbach-Neugersdorf (Upper Lusatia), aka the Spreequellstadt, and architectural visions in an open space for the "Fermiers Généraux" in Paris.
