Art and law. Tilla Durieux's Exile Estate

Tilla Durieux was one of the actors of the century. A partial estate from her former place of exile, Zagreb, has now been acquired for the Akademie der Künste thanks to the generous support of the Kulturstiftung der Länder. It contains important autographs, photographs and a rich correspondence, and shows Durieux’s connections with the artistic avant-garde of her time. The estate will be presented for the first time as part of the Tilla Durieux exhibition at the Georg Kolbe Museum and historically situated with a lecture and panel discussion.
