Poems about Love at this Time
Reading and Music
For this evening, a public event at the General Assembly of the Akademie der Künste, members of the Literature Section, namely Kerstin Hensel, Dagmara Kraus, Angela Krauß, Ursula Krechel, Michael Krüger, Monika Rinck and Aleš Šteger, have selected poems about love – their own, but also poems by other poets, such as Bertolt Brecht, Michael Donhauser, Günter Grass, Peter Hacks, Karl Mickel and Tomaž Šalamun.
Singer Anna Clementi and guitarist Simon Ganly will perform compositions by Akademie members Georges Aperghis and Younghi Pagh-Paan, as well as love songs and sound poems by former Akademie members Paul Dessau and Dieter Schnebel.
Akademie President Jeanine Meerapfel will introduce the multi-voiced programme.
