Nowhere in Germany is there such a rich cinema culture as in Berlin. Its future is uncertain, however. Potsdamer Platz is becoming less significant as a centre: the Arsenal is moving to Wedding, the Kinemathek is in danger of becoming homeless. What are the plans for a new Filmhaus? And what about the future of ŠİNEMA TRANSTOPIA as an initiative beyond the institutions? Where are the politicians heading? What is the audience dreaming of?
