In teams, Academy fellows have developed ten projects on the subject of “The Right to Public Space” for DEMO:POLIS. “Present People” refers to an artistic intervention by all the fellows in the neighbouring Hansaviertel quarter. Further works, the majority of which have originated in a transdisciplinary vein, deal with aspects such as spaces of joint responsibility, the revival of social meeting points, respect for the other, and surveillance.

Participating artists: Sebastian Gräfe, Otavio Schipper (Visual Arts), Felix Lüdicke, Theresa Schütz (Architecture), Amir Teymuri, Matthias Kranebitter (Music), Liat Elkayam (Literature), Caitlin van der Maas (Performing Arts), Thomas Ladenburger und Aslı Özarslan (Film and Media Arts).

The presentation is part  of the exhibtion "DEMO:POLIS - The Right to Public Space".
