Heinrich Mann’s estate is scattered throughout archives worldwide. This is no coincidence, but rather a consequence of the ruptures and upheavals of the 20th century and the poet’s biography. Starting from the most important places of activity in his life, the virtual exhibition by the Akademie der Künste Archives tells the story of the estate and presents the “Heinrich Mann DIGITAL” international cooperation project, which brings all of the work manuscripts, notebooks and letters together for the first time in one online portal.
